The Georgia Bulldogs have extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2027 safety Marcus Brown of Central-Phenix City High School. Brown, a 6-foot, 180-pound standout, recorded 65 tackles and 2 interceptions as a sophomore in 2024. He also boasts a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time and a 35-inch vertical jump. Brown, who has also received offers from Alabama, Auburn, and LSU, is considered one of the top safety prospects in the state of Alabama. Central-Phenix City's Red Devils will look to build on their 2024 7A state playoff appearance in the upcoming season. Brown is expected to attend Georgia's summer camp in late July, where he will look to further impress the Bulldogs' coaching staff. The recruiting timeline for Brown is expected to heat up in the coming months, with a decision potentially coming as early as the end of the 2026 season.
