As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska is poised to become a flagship program for women's flag football. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are actively recruiting top talent, including prospects from the Auburn area. For local flag football players, a visit to Ottawa University, Kansas, or Keiser University, Florida, could be a crucial step in securing a scholarship. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available, will host a summer camp in late July. Keiser University, meanwhile, has a reputation for being an active recruiter and will offer a camp experience in early August. Both opportunities provide a chance for Auburn's top flag prospects to showcase their skills and take a significant step towards realizing their college dreams.
