Auburn Tigers Break Ground on $2M Facility Upgrade
The Auburn Tigers football program officially broke ground on a $2 million facility upgrade, a move expected to boost the team's recruiting efforts and competitiveness in Class 7A. The Tigers finished last season with a 6-5 record, narrowly missing the playoffs. The facility upgrade includes new weight rooms, locker rooms and a state-of-the-art training area. Auburn head coach, Tommy Jackson, believes the upgrade will give the team a much-needed edge in the highly competitive 7A division. The Tigers will look to capitalize on the upgrade as they head into the 2026 season. The facility is expected to be completed in time for the start of fall practice. The upgrade is seen as a major coup for the program, which has been actively recruiting top talent from across the state.
