Baylor Lands North Little Rock DE Carson Davis

North Little Rock Charging Wildcats defensive end Carson Davis has committed to Baylor University, the school announced Thursday. Davis, a Class of 2026 prospect, chose the Bears over offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss and Memphis. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Davis is expected to fit into Baylor's 3-4 scheme, where he can utilize his speed and agility off the edge. With the departure of several defensive ends from last season's roster, Davis is projected to see significant playing time as a freshman. Baylor's academic program, which offers a strong business and engineering curriculum, also played a factor in Davis' decision. Davis had previously committed to Arkansas but decommitted in April, citing a desire to explore other options. He is the first commitment for the Bears' 2026 recruiting class.
