Pulaski Academy DE Cade Brown Commits to Houston
Pulaski Academy DE Cade Brown has committed to the University of Houston for the class of 2027. Brown, a 5A standout, chose the Cougars after a thorough evaluation of the program's defensive scheme and depth chart opportunities. The Pulaski Academy Bruins employ a 3-4 defensive front, which aligns with Houston's defensive strategy. Brown is expected to compete for a starting role at defensive end, where he can utilize his 6-foot-4 frame and 240-pound build. Academically, Brown was drawn to Houston's strong business program, which earned a top-20 ranking from U.S. News & World Report. Brown previously held offers from several Power Five programs, but decommitted from Texas A&M in April to focus on his recruitment. He will join the Cougars in the fall of 2027, where he will be part of a highly touted defensive class.
