The Charging Wildcats of North Little Rock are gearing up for another dominant season, and we're breaking down a crucial drill for their running backs. Introducing the 'Power Plateau' drill: a 3-set, 8-rep exercise designed to build explosive power and acceleration. Set up 3-4 cones in a straight line, 5 yards apart. Start with the ball, then sprint to the first cone, planting your outside foot and exploding into a jump, landing softly on both feet. Immediately transition to a 3-step run to the next cone, focusing on quick turnover and powerful extension. Repeat for 8 reps, then rest. This drill translates to game performance by improving running backs' ability to break tackles and accelerate through contact. Coaches, get your RBs moving!
