Bulldozing the Competition: Greenwood Bulldogs' OL Drill for 6A Success

๐Ÿ“ Greenwood BulldogsยทSaturday, July 4, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

In preparation for the 2026 6A season, the Greenwood Bulldogs' coaching staff has developed a drill to improve the strength and agility of their offensive linemen. The 'Bulldozer Blast' drill targets the legs, core, and upper body, mimicking the physical demands of a football game. To perform the drill, OL players will complete 3 sets of 10 reps of: 1) a box jump (18-inch box), 2) a lateral shuffle (5 yards), and 3) a medicine ball toss (10 lbs). Coaching cues include: 'Explode out of the box,' 'Keep your feet quick,' and 'Drive through the toss.' This drill translates to game performance by building explosive power, improving agility, and enhancing hand placement. By incorporating the 'Bulldozer Blast' into their training regimen, OL players can gain a competitive edge and dominate on the field.
