Malik Robinson Commits to UTSA Roadrunners
Perry Pumas defensive end Malik Robinson has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. The Class of 2026 standout, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 240 pounds, chose UTSA over several other Division I offers. The 6A Pumas' defensive line is expected to be a strength this season, and Robinson's commitment to UTSA should help bolster the Roadrunners' depth chart. UTSA's 3-4 defensive scheme, which features a strong defensive line, is a good fit for Robinson's skills. The school's strong academic programs, including its business and engineering departments, also appealed to the student-athlete. Robinson had previously committed to another program, but reopened his recruitment in May. He is expected to sign with UTSA during the early signing period in December.
