Chandler Wolves' Multisport Star Eyes Flag Football Scholarships at Top Programs
Chandler Wolves' standout athlete, Emily Johnson, is shifting her focus to flag football as she prepares for the 2028 season. With the University of Nebraska's inaugural flag football program set to launch, Johnson is eyeing a potential spot under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. The Power 4 school's Big Ten conference affiliation and NCAA Division 1 status make it an attractive option. Additionally, Johnson is considering Ottawa University, Kansas, which offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also on her radar due to their active recruiting efforts. As UT Arlington's flag football program develops, Johnson will monitor its progress. To increase her chances, Johnson is working on highlight tapes and attending summer camps to demonstrate her skills to college coaches.
