Isaiah Wilson Commits to Texas Tech
Hamilton Huskies safety Isaiah Wilson, a Class of 2027 standout, has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Wilson, a 6A prospect, chose the Red Raiders over other Division I offers. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound athlete is expected to contribute to the Red Raiders' secondary, where he'll fit into a scheme that emphasizes aggressive zone coverage. With the departure of several defensive backs from the 2025 roster, Wilson should have an opportunity to earn playing time early in his career. Texas Tech's renowned engineering program also appealed to Wilson, who maintains a strong academic record. Wilson had previously committed to Arizona State but re-opened his recruitment in March. He is considered one of the top safeties in the Class of 2027, with a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time and a 10-foot-5 broad jump at his most recent camp appearance.
