Servite CB Carson Jackson Commits to Houston
Servite cornerback Carson Jackson has committed to play for the University of Houston. The Class of 2027 prospect chose the Cougars over offers from several other Power Five programs. Jackson cited Houston's aggressive defensive scheme and the opportunity to contribute immediately as key factors in his decision. He also praised the university's strong academic programs, which align with his own academic goals. Jackson had previously decommitted from the University of Oregon in April. He is expected to enroll at Houston in the summer of 2027 and participate in fall camp. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound cornerback is considered one of the top prospects in the CIF Southern Section. He was a key contributor for the Servite Friars as a sophomore, earning All-League honors. Houston's coaching staff is looking to build on last season's success, and Jackson's addition is expected to bolster the Cougars' secondary.
