Jalen Young Commits to Navy
Oaks Christian Lions running back Jalen Young has committed to the United States Naval Academy. The Class of 2027 prospect chose Navy over other Division I offers. Young's commitment to Navy is a result of the school's emphasis on its triple-option offense, which aligns with his skills as a versatile running back. He also cited the opportunity to contribute immediately to the team's depth chart. Additionally, Young was drawn to Navy's strong academic program, which will provide him with a well-rounded education and prepare him for a future career. Young had previously held offers from several other schools, but ultimately chose Navy for its unique blend of athletic and academic opportunities. He is expected to enroll at the academy in the summer of 2027.
