Valor Christian Eagles Girls Flag Football Players Eye Nebraska's 2028 Inaugural Season
As the 2026-2027 school year approaches, Valor Christian Eagles girls flag football players are looking ahead to the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, pioneers in the sport, will lead the Cornhuskers into the Big Ten Conference. For Highlands Ranch prospects, this development means increased opportunities for scholarships and exposure. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are already established NAIA powerhouses with up to 12 scholarships available. Midland University, Nebraska, is also an active recruiter. While UT Arlington is developing its NCAA D1 program, it has not yet offered scholarships. Valor Christian Eagles players can take concrete steps to prepare for these opportunities by attending summer camps and creating highlight tapes showcasing their skills. By doing so, they can increase their chances of being recruited by these schools and making the most of Nebraska's 2028 inaugural season.
