Notre Dame Offers Prolific Kicker Caleb Young

Notre Dame has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2027 kicker Caleb Young of the 5A Eaglecrest Raptors. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound specialist boasts a 40-yard field goal range and averages 55 yards per punt. Young has also received offers from Colorado State and Wyoming. He is a two-time All-Region selection and holds the school record for most points scored in a single season by a kicker. With his strong leg and accuracy, Young is a top target for college programs. The recruiting process for Young is expected to heat up in the coming months as he prepares for the 2026 season. He plans to take official visits to Notre Dame and other top programs in the fall, with a commitment decision likely to follow in December.
