Cade Johnson Commits to Navy
Fairfield Prep Jesuits senior safety Cade Johnson has committed to play football at the United States Naval Academy. Johnson, a Class of 2026 standout, chose the Midshipmen over other Division I programs. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back is expected to fit seamlessly into Navy's defensive scheme, which emphasizes speed and agility. Johnson's athleticism and ball-hawking skills will be valuable assets for the Midshipmen. He will also have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot in the secondary. Academically, Johnson is drawn to Navy's rigorous academic program and the opportunity to earn a degree from a top-tier institution. Johnson had previously committed to another program but decommitted earlier this summer to explore other options. He is expected to enroll at Navy in the fall of 2026.
