Fairfield Prep Jesuits' Hunter Davis Commits to Arkansas
Hunter Davis, a Class of 2027 cornerback from Fairfield Prep Jesuits, has committed to the University of Arkansas. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Davis is expected to contribute to the Razorbacks' secondary, which employs a multiple defensive back scheme. Arkansas' depth chart at cornerback is expected to be competitive, with Davis potentially vying for a starting role as a freshman. The school's strong academic program and reputation for producing well-rounded student-athletes also played a significant factor in Davis' decision. Davis previously committed to the University of Connecticut in 2024 but decommitted in January 2026. Arkansas' coaching staff, led by head coach Sam Pittman, has a history of developing talented cornerbacks, and Davis is expected to benefit from their guidance. Davis' commitment is a significant addition to the Razorbacks' 2027 recruiting class.
