Hand Tigers Break Ground on $2M Facility Upgrade

๐Ÿ“ Hand TigersยทSaturday, July 11, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Hand Tigers, a Class LL program from Madison, Conn., broke ground on a $2 million facility upgrade Friday, a move that could give the team a competitive edge in the CIAC's top tier. The Tigers finished last season with a 4-6 record, a slight improvement from their 2-8 mark in 2024. The upgrade includes a renovated weight room, a state-of-the-art film room and a turf field. The facility improvements are expected to attract top recruits to the program, which has struggled to find consistency in recent years. With the upgrade, the Tigers are poised to make a push for the CIAC Class LL playoffs, a goal that has eluded them in the past.
