Southington Blue Knights Girls Flag Football Players Target Verified Scholarship Programs

As the CIAC flag football pilot district expansion creates new opportunities for Texas athletes, the Southington Blue Knights are focusing on verified scholarship programs. The inaugural 2028 season at the University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, offers a Power 4 school experience. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse, awards up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are active recruiters. While UT Arlington is developing its program, it has not yet begun offering scholarships.
