Southington Safety Isaiah Williams Commits to Arkansas
Southington Blue Knights safety Isaiah Williams has committed to the University of Arkansas for the Class of 2025. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Williams chose the Razorbacks over offers from Connecticut and Rhode Island, citing Arkansas' strong defensive scheme and depth chart opportunity. The Blue Knights' defense will be looking to replace several key departures, and Williams' decision to commit to Arkansas suggests he believes he can contribute immediately. Williams was previously committed to the University of Connecticut before decommitting in April. Arkansas' academic program, which offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees, also played a factor in Williams' decision. The Razorbacks' strong football tradition and commitment to player development made Arkansas an attractive option for the talented safety. Williams is expected to enroll at Arkansas in the fall of 2025, pending finalization of his academic and athletic eligibility.
