Shelton's Caleb Brown Commits to UTSA Roadrunners
Caleb Brown, a 2027 linebacker prospect from Shelton High School, has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. Brown, who stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 215 pounds, was a key contributor to the Gaels' defense last season. He averaged 8.5 tackles per game and recorded two sacks. Brown chose UTSA due to its 3-4 defensive scheme, which aligns with his playing style. He also cited the Roadrunners' strong linebacker depth chart and the university's commitment to academic excellence. Brown had previously considered several other Division I programs, but ultimately decided that UTSA offered the best fit for his athletic and academic goals. He plans to enroll in the fall of 2027 and participate in the Roadrunners' summer camp. Brown's commitment to UTSA marks a significant addition to the program's 2027 recruiting class.
