FridayNightPulse Training Tip: Hand Tigers RB Drill
The Hand Tigers' running backs will be putting in extra work this summer with a drill designed to improve their acceleration and agility. The 'Ladder Lateral Dash' drill consists of 3 sets of 10 reps, with 30 seconds rest in between sets. Players will start at one end of a ladder, then dash to the side, performing a lateral step through each rung. Upon reaching the end, they'll quickly change direction and dash back through the ladder, mimicking a 'J' shape. Coaching cues include 'quick feet' and 'stay low.' This drill translates to game performance by improving RBs' ability to change direction and accelerate quickly, making them more elusive to defenders. By incorporating this drill into their pre-season training, the Hand Tigers' RBs will be better equipped to dominate on the field.
