Cameron Williams Commits to TCU
Southington Blue Knights running back Cameron Williams has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs of the Big 12 Conference. The Class of 2026 standout chose TCU over other Division I programs, citing the Horned Frogs' high-powered offense as a key factor in his decision. Williams believes his skills as a dual-threat running back align well with TCU's scheme, which features a strong emphasis on play-action passing and outside zone running. Additionally, the depth chart at running back appears to be wide open, with several key contributors departing after the 2025 season. Williams also praised TCU's academic program, noting that the school's strong business and engineering programs align with his academic interests. Williams decommitted from the University of Connecticut in April after considering the Huskies' offer for several months. He is expected to sign with TCU on National Signing Day in December.
