Auburn Extends Offer to Rising Safety Jalen Taylor
The Auburn Tigers have extended a scholarship offer to Jalen Taylor, a standout safety from Maloney High School in Meriden, Connecticut. The Class of 2025 prospect stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 190 pounds, showcasing exceptional speed and agility on the field. Taylor recorded 45 tackles, 10 pass breakups and 2 interceptions last season, earning All-Conference honors. He currently holds offers from Boston College and Syracuse, in addition to Auburn. Taylor's impressive performance has drawn attention from top programs, and he is expected to continue to attract more offers in the coming months. As a rising junior, Taylor will participate in the CIAC's annual Football Showcase in August, providing a platform for him to showcase his skills to college scouts. With the recruiting timeline heating up, Taylor will need to make a decision on his future by the start of his senior year in the fall of 2024.
