Fairfield Prep Jesuits Break Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade
The Fairfield Prep Jesuits football program has officially broken ground on a $3 million facility upgrade, set to be completed before the start of the 2026 season. The Jesuits, a Class LL program, finished last season with a 10-2 record and a state semifinal appearance. The upgrade includes renovations to the team's locker room, weight room and training facilities. The program's head coach, Mike Aylward, has been actively recruiting top talent in the state, with several high-profile commitments already secured. The facility upgrade is expected to give the Jesuits a significant competitive edge in the highly competitive FCIAC and CIAC Class LL divisions. The team's summer camp is currently underway, with coaches and players working to fine-tune their skills and prepare for the upcoming season.
