Devon Brown Commits to Air Force
Smyrna Eagles defensive end Devon Brown has committed to Air Force for the class of 2027. Brown, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound prospect, chose the Falcons due to their 3-4 defensive scheme, which aligns with his athletic abilities. He also cited the opportunity to compete for a starting spot on the depth chart as a key factor in his decision. Additionally, Brown was drawn to Air Force's academic program, which offers a strong emphasis on STEM fields. Brown previously held offers from Delaware, Maryland, and Temple, but ultimately chose the Falcons. He attended Air Force's summer camp and was impressed with the coaching staff and facilities. Brown is expected to enroll in the Falcons' prep school program and will have four years of eligibility remaining. This commitment marks a significant addition to the Air Force's 2027 recruiting class.
