Elijah Thompson Commits to Arkansas
Cocoa Tigers wide receiver Elijah Thompson has committed to play football at the University of Arkansas. The Class of 2025 standout made the announcement after a summer of recruiting visits and evaluations. Thompson, a 4A prospect, chose Arkansas due to the Razorbacks' spread offense, which aligns with his skills as a receiver. He also cited the opportunity to contribute immediately in the Razorbacks' receiving corps, which lost several key players to graduation. Additionally, Thompson was drawn to Arkansas' strong academic program, which offers a range of majors and research opportunities. This marks a new commitment for Thompson, as he had previously committed to another program before decommitting and reopening his recruitment. Thompson is expected to enroll at Arkansas in the summer of 2027 and participate in fall camp as a freshman.
