Marcus Williams Commits to Iowa State
Marcus Williams, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound wide receiver from Chaminade-Madonna High School in Class 3A, has committed to Iowa State University. Williams, a member of the Class of 2025, chose the Cyclones over other Power Five offers from Florida State and Louisville. The Lions' standout athlete cited Iowa State's wide-open passing offense as a key factor in his decision, believing it aligns with his skills and playing style. He also praised the program's depth chart opportunity, noting that he will have a chance to contribute immediately. Additionally, Williams highlighted Iowa State's strong academic program, which he said will allow him to pursue his degree in business while competing at the Division I level. Williams had previously decommitted from Florida State in February, but ultimately chose Iowa State after a summer of recruitment.
