Rams WRs Get Ready for Gridiron Showdown with 'Route Runner' Drill
Grayson Rams wide receivers, get ready to take your game to the next level with the 'Route Runner' drill. This intense workout targets speed, agility, and route-running precision. Set up four cones in a square formation, with 10 yards between each cone. Players start at the first cone and sprint to the second, then quickly change direction to run a 5-yard out route. After completing the route, they must accelerate to the third cone, where they'll run a 10-yard in route. Finally, they'll sprint to the fourth cone and back to the start. Complete 3 sets of 5 reps, resting 30 seconds between sets. Coach your WRs to 'attack the cone' on each turn, keeping their eyes on the target and exploding out of their cuts. This drill translates to game performance by improving reaction time, agility, and the ability to quickly change direction on the field.
