Elevate Your Tight End Game: Collins Hill Eagles' TE Drill
This summer, Collins Hill Eagles' tight ends can take their game to the next level with a dynamic drill that targets speed, agility, and receiving skills. The 'TE Triangle Drill' involves three stations: a 5-yard cone course, a 10-yard receiving route, and a 5-yard target zone. Players start at the cone course, sprinting through the cones (3 sets of 10 reps). Next, they move to the receiving route, where they run a 10-yard out route and catch a pass from a quarterback (3 sets of 10 reps). Finally, they finish at the target zone, where they focus on quick releases and accurate catches (3 sets of 10 reps). Coaching cues include 'explosive off the line,' 'keep your eyes on the quarterback,' and 'catch with your hands inside the numbers.' This drill translates to game performance by improving speed, agility, and receiving skills, making tight ends a valuable asset on the field.
