Buford K Jayden Anderson Commits to UTSA
Jayden Anderson, a 6-foot-1 kicker from Buford High School, has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) for the Class of 2026. Anderson, a 6A standout, is expected to bolster the Roadrunners' special teams unit. UTSA's 3-4 defensive scheme, which features a strong emphasis on run defense, should play to Anderson's strengths as a kicker. With the departure of last season's starting kicker, Anderson is likely to see significant playing time as a freshman. UTSA's academic program, which offers a range of degree options in fields such as business and engineering, was also a major draw for Anderson. He previously held a commitment to the University of Georgia before decommitting in April. Anderson's commitment to UTSA is the latest in a string of recent additions to the Roadrunners' 2026 recruiting class.
