Cadet Flag Football Star Attracts Nebraska, NAIA Suitors
Benedictine Cadets rising junior flag football standout, Emily Wilson, has garnered interest from top collegiate programs. The 4A Savannah standout has caught the attention of University of Nebraska coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, who will be launching the program in 2028. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also expressed interest in Wilson's skills. Midland University, Nebraska, has also reached out to the Cadets' coaching staff regarding Wilson's potential. As Wilson continues to develop her skills through summer camps and training sessions, she is advised to focus on her academic performance and build relationships with the aforementioned programs. UT Arlington, while developing its program, has not yet offered scholarships. Wilson's recruitment is a testament to the growing popularity of girls flag football at the high school level.
