The Kamehameha Warriors, a Division I Open school from Honolulu, have announced the hiring of a new wide receivers coach ahead of their August training camp. The Warriors, who finished 10-3 last season, are looking to build on a strong 2025 campaign that saw them reach the state semifinals. The new coach, a veteran of the sport with experience at the collegiate level, is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the Warriors' passing game. With a strong recruiting class already in place, the hiring of this new coach is seen as a key move in the program's bid to compete with the state's top teams, including St. Louis and Punahou. The Warriors' August camp is set to begin on August 1, with the team's first game scheduled for September 3.
