DeShawn Robinson Commits to Kansas State
Punahou Buffanblu tight end DeShawn Robinson has committed to Kansas State University, the school announced. The Class of 2027 standout chose the Wildcats due to their pro-style offense, which aligns with his skills as a pass-catching tight end. With the departure of several tight ends from the Kansas State roster, Robinson sees an opportunity to contribute immediately. Additionally, the university's strong academic programs and resources for student-athletes made it an attractive fit for the four-star recruit. Robinson had previously considered offers from several Power Five programs, including Oregon and Washington. He is the first commitment from the state of Hawaii for the 2027 recruiting class. Kansas State's coaching staff is expected to work with Robinson to develop his skills further, particularly in the passing game.
