Penn State Extends Offer to Punahou's Trevon Thompson
Penn State has extended an offer to Class of 2026 running back Trevon Thompson, a standout performer for the Punahou Buffanblu. Thompson, who stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs 185 pounds, has been clocked at a 4.5-second 40-yard dash and boasts a 35-inch vertical jump. He has also recorded 23 touchdowns in just 12 games over the past two seasons. In addition to Penn State, Thompson has already received offers from USC, Oregon, and Washington. The talented back is also being courted by local programs such as Hawaii and BYU. As the recruiting process heats up, Thompson is expected to participate in several summer camps and combine events, including the upcoming Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge. He is currently expected to make a decision on his college destination by the end of the summer, with a possible early signing in November.
