Cameron Young Commits to Kansas State
Punahou Buffanblu quarterback Cameron Young has committed to Kansas State for the Class of 2027. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound signal-caller chose the Wildcats due to their pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset and playing style. Young will have an opportunity to compete for the starting job immediately, as Kansas State's quarterback depth chart is expected to be wide open. Additionally, the university's academic programs in the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education align with Young's interests and career goals. Young was previously committed to Oregon State but decommitted in May after reevaluating his options. He will join a Kansas State team that finished the 2025 season with a 7-6 record and will look to make a strong impression during the 2026 season.
