Noah Harris Commits to Baylor University
Iowa City West kicker Noah Harris has committed to Baylor University, joining the Bears' 2026 recruiting class. Harris, a 4A standout, chose Baylor for its athletic fit within the team's scheme. The Bears' offense, which often features high-percentage field goal attempts, aligns with Harris' strengths as a kicker. Additionally, Harris sees an opportunity to contribute immediately, given Baylor's current depth chart at kicker. The university's strong academic program also played a significant role in Harris' decision. Harris had previously committed to another program, but decommitted in May to explore other options. He attended Baylor's summer camp and was impressed by the coaching staff and facilities. Harris is expected to enroll at Baylor in the fall of 2026 and compete for a starting spot on the team. Harris' commitment adds to Baylor's growing reputation as a top destination for kicking talent in the Midwest.
