Jordan Young Commits to Iowa State
Jordan Young, a 2026 kicker from Cedar Falls High School, has committed to play for the Iowa State Cyclones. Young, a 4A standout, chose Iowa State for its ideal kicking scheme, which aligns with his strong leg and accuracy. The Cyclones' depth chart at kicker is expected to be competitive, but Young believes his skills will allow him to contribute immediately. Additionally, Iowa State's academic program in athletic training and sports management caught Young's attention, as he plans to pursue a degree in one of these fields. Young previously held commitments to Northern Iowa and South Dakota State, but he ultimately decided that Iowa State was the best fit for his athletic and academic goals. The Cedar Falls Tigers kicker will join the Cyclones in the fall of 2026, bringing his strong leg and competitive spirit to the Big 12 Conference.
