East St. Louis Flyers Name Assistant Coach as Coordinator

East St. Louis Flyers head coach, Mike Jones, has promoted assistant coach, Darnell Lee, to coordinator. Lee has spent five seasons developing talent with the Flyers, a 6A program in the Illinois High School Association. The Flyers have struggled on the field, posting a 12-24 record over the past three seasons. Lee's elevation is seen as a move to bolster the team's recruiting efforts, particularly in the St. Louis area.
