Mount Carmel Caravan's Caleb Allen, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound senior lineman, has earned a starting role on the 8A team's offense despite a significant setback in his junior year. Allen's impressive summer camp performance was capped off with a 2-minute, 30-second block that allowed a teammate to score a touchdown in a recent scrimmage. The 8A classification is one of the toughest in the state, but Allen's hard work and dedication have paid off.
