As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska's Power 4 women's flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, continues to attract top talent from across the nation. For local prospects in the Chicago area, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, offer attractive alternatives. Both schools have established national reputations and offer up to 12 scholarships. This summer, Loyola Academy flag football players have the opportunity to visit Ottawa University's camp in Kansas or Keiser University's camp in Florida. These camps provide a chance for prospects to showcase their skills, network with coaches, and gain valuable experience. Interested athletes should contact their school's athletic department or visit the respective university's website for more information on camp dates and registration.
