Jordan Williams Commits to UTSA
East St. Louis Flyers linebacker Jordan Williams, a Class of 2025 standout, has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect chose UTSA over other Division I offers, citing the program's aggressive 3-4 defensive scheme as a key factor in his decision. Williams projects as a strong-side linebacker, where he can utilize his athleticism and instincts to make plays against the run. With the Roadrunners' current depth chart, Williams is expected to compete for a starting role immediately. Additionally, UTSA's strong academic program and commitment to student-athlete success were major selling points for Williams, who maintains a 3.5 GPA. Williams had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in April, ultimately choosing UTSA after a series of official visits.
