Elijah Walker Commits to Kansas State
Center Grove Trojans tight end Elijah Walker has committed to Kansas State University. The Class of 2026 prospect chose the Wildcats over other Power Five offers, citing the team's pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision. Walker believes he can contribute immediately, as Kansas State's tight end depth chart is expected to be wide open in the fall. The school's academic programs, including its renowned engineering department, also played a significant role in Walker's decision. Walker had previously committed to Indiana University, but decommitted in February after a coaching change. He has been training at the school's summer camp and has been impressed with the team's coaching staff and facilities. Walker is expected to enroll in the spring of 2027 and participate in spring practice.
