Fighting Irish DE Jordan Johnson: Rising from the Ashes
Cathedral Fighting Irish defensive end Jordan Johnson is coming off a breakout preseason, where he racked up 12 tackles for loss in just three games. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior's impressive performance is all the more remarkable considering he suffered a season-ending ACL injury in his sophomore year. Johnson's determination and hard work have paid off, earning him a starting role on the Irish's 5A squad. The Cathedral coaching staff has praised Johnson's ability to read the opposing offense and make plays in the backfield. As Johnson continues to develop his skills, scouts are taking notice. "We're excited to see how Johnson's speed and agility translate to the next level," said one college recruiter. "He's got the size and athleticism to be a dominant force in the Big Ten or Pac-12."
