Alabama Extends Offer to Cathedral Safety Jordan Young
The University of Alabama has extended an offer to Cathedral Fighting Irish safety Jordan Young, a Class of 2025 standout. Young, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect, has been making waves in the Indianapolis high school football scene with his impressive speed and agility. According to IHSAA records, Young recorded 75 tackles, 5 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries last season. In addition to Alabama, Young has already received offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan. Young's recruitment is expected to continue to heat up in the coming months, with several Power Five programs expressing interest. The Cathedral Fighting Irish are set to begin summer camp in late July, and Young is expected to be a key contributor on defense. Young's recruiting timeline is expected to unfold in the next several months, with a decision potentially coming in the fall of 2024.
