LSU Lands Commitment from 5A Kicker Hunter Thomas

LSU has secured a commitment from Hunter Thomas, a standout kicker from Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas. Thomas, a Class of 2025 prospect, stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 170 pounds. He boasts a 40-yard field goal range and has made 12 consecutive PATs in game situations. Thomas held offers from Oklahoma and Kansas State, in addition to LSU. The 5A Jaguars' kicker has been a key contributor to his team's success, earning All-Conference honors in 2023. Thomas plans to enroll early at LSU in January 2025, with the goal of competing for a starting spot on the Tigers' special teams unit. His commitment is expected to bolster the Tigers' recruiting class, which currently ranks among the nation's top 10.
