Derby Panthers CB Austin Allen Commits to TCU
Derby Panthers Class of 2025 cornerback Austin Allen has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Allen, a standout in the secondary, chose the Big 12 program over other top offers. Allen's commitment fits athletically as TCU's defense is expected to feature a mix of man-to-man and zone coverage, a scheme that aligns with Allen's skills. The Horned Frogs' secondary depth chart is expected to be a key area of competition this fall, and Allen will have the opportunity to contribute right away. TCU's academic program, which offers a strong focus on business and engineering, also appealed to Allen.
