The Derby Panthers, a 6A program in Kansas, have broken ground on a $1 million facility upgrade. The upgrade, expected to be completed by the start of the season, will include new locker rooms, a state-of-the-art weight room and updated field turf. The Panthers finished 7-4 last season and are looking to improve their chances in the competitive 6A classification. The upgrade is expected to play a significant role in recruiting, as the Panthers look to attract top talent from across the state. With the upgrade, the Panthers will be able to provide their student-athletes with the resources they need to compete at a high level.
