St. Xavier's Emma Jenkins Draws Attention from Nebraska, NAIA Flag Football Programs

๐Ÿ“ St. Xavier TigersยทSunday, July 5, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

St. Xavier Tigers rising senior Emma Jenkins has caught the eye of college coaches, particularly at the University of Nebraska, where inaugural head coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are building a powerhouse program. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also expressed interest in Jenkins' skills on the field. Midland University, Nebraska, is another NAIA program actively recruiting Jenkins. While UT Arlington's NCAA D1 program is in development, it has not yet offered scholarships for flag football. Jenkins' standout performance at the KHSAA's Girls Flag Football Summer Camp has made her a top target for these programs. As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, Jenkins is encouraged to continue developing her skills and to reach out to these programs directly to explore scholarship opportunities.
