FridayNightPulse Training Tip: Boyle County Rebels RB Drill

๐Ÿ“ Boyle County RebelsยทWednesday, July 15, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

This summer, Boyle County Rebels running backs will be working on a crucial drill to improve their footwork and agility. The 'Ladder Shuffle' drill consists of 3 sets of 10 reps, with 30 seconds rest in between sets. The drill begins with the RB standing in a ladder with rungs spaced 1 foot apart. They must quickly shuffle their feet through the ladder, focusing on small, quick steps. Coaching cues include 'quick feet' and 'light on your toes.' This drill translates to game performance by improving the RB's ability to change direction quickly and accelerate out of cuts. By mastering the Ladder Shuffle, Boyle County Rebels RBs will be better equipped to break tackles and make big plays on the field.
