Jordan Williams Commits to Texas Tech
Jordan Williams, a 4A wide receiver from St. Augustine High School, has committed to Texas Tech University. The Class of 2027 prospect chose the Red Raiders over other Power Five offers, citing the team's spread offense and the opportunity to contribute immediately. Williams, who holds a 4.4 40-yard dash time and a 36-inch vertical jump, is expected to compete for a starting role in the Red Raiders' receiving corps. Texas Tech's strong academic program and research opportunities also played a significant role in Williams' decision. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver held offers from several top programs, including LSU and Oklahoma. Williams had previously committed to Louisiana State University but decommitted in April after a coaching change. He is expected to enroll at Texas Tech in the fall of 2027.
